The 2023-24 Lady Trojans Basketball team comprised eight freshmen, four sophomores, two juniors, and three seniors. Overall, the Lady Trojans varsity team went 15-6 on the season. The Lady Trojans earned the league title for the fourth consecutive year. The Trojans battled to the championship game during the Sterling Tournament but fell short to Smoky Valley. Once the mid-season tournament was completed, the Trojans focused on improving their record as best as possible for the Sub-State Tournament. For the first round of Sub-State, the Trojans traveled to Osage City where the Trojans lost a hard-fought game. After the completion of the season, Maddie Harris earned NCAA All-League 1st Team, Lexi Jacobson earned NCAA All-League 1st Team, Brielle Ptacek earned NCAA All-League Honorable Mention, and Abigail Pearson earned NCAA All-League Honorable Mention. Even though the season didn’t end as we anticipated, there were many accomplishments along the way.
The 2023-24 Trojans Basketball team concluded the season with an exceptional finish at the 3a state basketball tournament. The Trojans basketball team finished with a fourth-place finish at the state tournament. They ended their season with a record of 15-11. The Trojans had to rebuild their team after losing eight seniors from the previous season. Their goal this season was to make it back to state for the third year in a row. After the completion of the season, Daniel Kejr and Gannon Jacobson earned NCAA All-League 1st-team honors. Owen Bailey earned NCAA All-League honorable mention honors. The Trojans basketball team met their goals and had a great season.
