Are Stanley’s sustainable? The company Stanley has said their products will almost be 50% stainless steel from recycled things by 2025. Even though stainless steel is recyclable, companies will not accept the product because the colorful layer around the cups takes more processing for each layer.
As people start buying these cups, many of them have different opinions. Most people like the brand and cups because they are big, have a straw, they have a handle, and mostly to follow the trends. People who don’t like the cups think they are too big and bulky, and they do unfortunately spill.
As these cups start to get more popular people have started to do some research on them and realized these cups have led in them. Led is a very serious chemical that could make anyone sick. This had started to make people realize that these cups aren’t what people thought they were buying. Stanley cups are made out of a recyclable material which a prompt to the brand but the harsh chemicals and outside coating are making people rethink their decision on buying the cup.
