For this month’s TroJournal I have chosen Mr. Kurt Krehbiel. Mr. Krehbiel teaches ceramics, jewelry, drawing, stained glass, and painting classes. He grew up in Scott City and attended Bethany College. Some things that he enjoys doing outside of school are being around family, hunting, fishing, working out, and going to the shooting range.
Mr. Krehbiel says that his favorite part of teaching is helping kids out. He was also asked what he would be if he weren’t a teacher. He replied that he would like to be an architect. Another question Mr. Krehbiel asked was why you chose to teach at Southeast. He responded that he believed Southeast is the best school in the universe and loved Southeast’s excellent reputation. The last question he was asked was a fun one, what is your hidden talent? Mr. Krehbiel says that his hidden talent would have to be cutting hair.
In conclusion, Mr. Krehbiel is beloved by both staff and students at Southeast, and I can say that I appreciate the time and effort that he puts into teaching his students.
