As the class of 2025 is closing in on their senior year, they are starting to think about their futures after high school. There are lots of big goals and accomplishments that the class of 2025 is looking forward to reaching starting next year.
Information was recently acquired from a survey sent out to the senior class regarding things like college, majors, and extracurricular involvement in college. A majority of the students are attending Kansas State University (KSU) and Fort Hays State University (FHSU). There are some students going to other places as well. Allison Moddelmog is attending Creighton University, Avery Kinkelaar is going to Frank Phillips College, Kendall Minneman is attending Barton Community College, Ali Richardson is going to Oklahoma Christian University, and Kimber Ogorzolka is planning on going to the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
The class of 2025 has a wide range of studies they are going to major in to reach their dream careers. For example, Brooke Johnson and Cooper Westoff are majoring in architecture, Allison Moddelmog is studying Neuroscience, Adyson Rohr is going into Nursing, Landon Albrecht is majoring in Agronomy or Plant and Soil Science, Sarah Feldman and Kimber Ogorzolka are going into Biology, Cooper Carlin is studying Finance, Ali Richardson is studying English, and Owen Gleason is going into Aviation Maintenance.
One of the most important things to do at college is to get involved and meet new people. These students already have an idea of what they want to do while attending school. Almost everyone said they are attending sporting events like basketball and football, along with being involved in some sort of club. Avery Kinkelaar is joining the rodeo team, Owen Gleason plans to be in the Race Car Club, Evan Watkins is planning on joining Christian Challenge and an intramural sports team, Landon Albrecht is wanting to be on the Crops Judging Team and possibly the Soils Team, and Kendall Minneman is wanting to meet people by joining band.
Overall this is just a small spotlight into what the class of 2025 is wanting to accomplish. They have big goals for their futures that all started here at SES. Their goals are now within reach!
