At the beginning of break power school had got hacked. It messed up the systems on both the administration and students side. The first noticeable incident was seeing your grades drop down to F’s. We were all so nervous at first because it was the end of semester. The second incident was the app just crashing. That led to some being logged out of the app and not being able to get in. We were all confused and did not know what was happening. Luckily our IT guy got everything figured out.

It was a fixable problem! Majority of the system just had to be reset and all the passwords just needed to be changed. We got lucky in this situation because as students all of our personal information is one power school. The person who hacked our power school did not get access to our information though. This was definitely a surprising event because who would think of hacking a school grading system?

We just have to hope that nothing like that will happen again!
