Jasmin Arceo is the September Student of the Month. Jasmin is a creative, charismatic, and funny person who is a light to be around. Her favorite color is a soft butter yellow. Jasmin is a Senior here at SES. Jasmin came to SES in her sophomore year of high school. For her freshman year, she started high school at Salina Central. The in-school activities she is involved in are FCCLA, Track, the school play, and the school musical. Her hobbies outside of school include involvement in an art club outside of school. When she isn’t working, she loves to hang out with her friends, sew, and she likes to explore nature. Jasmin has four brothers, and she is the only female child in her family. Her mom is Udan Arceo, and her dad is Thomas Arceo. Her oldest brother is Christian, her second oldest is Amaro, she is the third and exact middle child, her second youngest is Junior (Thomas), and her youngest brother is Alex. After high school, she plans to go to Kansas State University or a community college to major in animal science and become a travel veterinarian. Regan Duran is the September Athlete of the Month. Regan is a joyful, friendly, and determined person who is so much fun to spend time with. Her favorite dessert is pineapple upside-down cake. Regan is a Junior here at SES, and she has been at SES since Kindergarten. Regan is very involved at SES. Her in-school activities include cross country, basketball, track, STUCO, FFA, NHS, FCA, and SAFE. While not participating in school activities, she loves to watch movies and hang out with her friends. Regan has one sibling, her sister, Skylar Duran, who is an 8th grader here at SES. Regan is the older sibling in her house. Her mom is Laura Duran, and her dad is Marc Duran. Regan and her family love to spend time together by having family dinners over at her grandparents’ house on Wednesdays. After high school, Regan plans to go to Kansas State University to major in health science to eventually get a job in the medical field.
