SES Track is Back

This season, the Trojan Track team has carried over its success from last year. The boys’ squad is fresh off a dominant victory at the 82nd Annual Beloit Relays. With 142 points, they dismantled the competition, beating second-place Concordia by almost 60 points. On the season, the guys have now won four meets. As for the girls, they’ve had a promising season as well. For them, there’s a handful of individuals that get some points. If they can put everything together, the ladies could be a team to watch out for.

This Friday, Abilene, Beloit, Bennington, Minneapolis, and Sacred Heart will come to Gypsum for the SES Invitational. It’s the first time since 2012 that a high school meet will be hosted at SES. Look out for the team to showcase their dominance at home. This meet will be the last before the Trojans go to the postseason competition.

The first of this postseason slate is the league meet – somewhere that our school traditional has success. After this, the team will go on to Phillipsburg for the Regional competition. Those fortunate enough to qualify will then go to Wichita for state competition. Look for the Trojans to have success in this time frame.
