Spirit Week is a good way for people to get more involved and make homecoming a whole lot better. It gets everyone excited and hyped about the Homecoming Dance. Homecoming is a very big activity for the start of the school year that everyone gets excited for the events to come. 

Monday’s theme for spirit week was jersey day. Lots of people dressed up that day because the jersey theme is a very common theme. Jersey day is a good way for people to support different teams and show what team(s) they like! 

Tuesday’s theme was anything but a backpack day! This theme is one that everyone enjoys participating in. It’s a very fun way to get creative and see other people’s creativity. Seeing the things people bring can be super funny! Some people bring the most random things and carry them around all day.

Wednesday’s theme was old vs baby. This theme was kind of a new idea that the student council had this year. It was super funny to see people dressed up as babies with bottles and all the baby stuff. It was also fun to see people dressed as old people with gray hair and sweaters while also acting old! I think this theme was a very creative theme and a fun sight to see! 

Thursday’s theme was very patriotic with the focus being USA. USA is a very common theme that everyone loves participating in by wearing red, white, and blue! USA is a fun theme to do because you can be super simple with it and it still looks good, or you can go all out and it looks great! 

Friday’s theme was purple out. Purple out is a very common spirit week theme because that’s our school colors. On Fridays we always try to wear purple to support our school and sports teams that are playing that night. It’s a very fun theme to do because the majority of the school wears purple and it’s great seeing everyone show their Trojan Pride!
