The talk of the nation is the new and upcoming couple, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. Earlier this year, the potential couple was just a rumor, but it became a reality just a few weeks ago.

It all started when Travis, the star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, went to Taylor’s Eras Tour concert in Kansas City and wanted to give her a friendship bracelet with his number written on it. In his podcast, Kelce stated that the pop singer didn’t want the bracelet, which is likely why so many fans of the two are so shocked that the couple has actually come to life.

Taylor was then spotted just a few weeks later back at the Arrowhead Stadium, but this time to watch the Chiefs play on home turf. After the first sighting of Taylor at a game, Travis’s Jersey sales went up by roughly 400%. People have been calling this the “Taylor Effect”. Everywhere she goes, everything she does, people follow along or try to be like her. 

During time spent at these games, Swift spent a large amount of time with Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce. Fans thought that they hit it off until an interview came out in the following days from Mama Kelce. When asked what meeting Taylor was like, she responds with, “ It was…. OK.”

Travis and Taylor have been up and down in the past couple of weeks. There have been speculations and rumors about them breaking up, but Taylor always picks it back up by showing up at his games each week. She is the star of the show even when it’s his football game. There were many photos posted of them leaving in a getaway car after the game. 

After the Chiefs played the Broncos, Taylor was seen leaving with Travis, but this time openly holding hands. Fans used this to move Travis and Taylor’s relationship from a guess to a statement.  

Travis said in an interview that dating her feels more like winning than his recent victory in last year’s Super Bowl. That statement would make anyone feel like this is the new power couple. Overall everyone all around the world is rooting for them to make it, and there will surely be more developments to come for this celebrity couple.
