Typically as the New Year rolls around people tend to find goals and set them to complete that year. We interviewed 10 people and we found out that 8 out of the 10 people we interviewed had set goals for themselves. People set different goals for themselves, typically the most popular goal that is set is to lose weight or something with eating less or working out. As the people we interviewed, the majority of the students and teachers said they would eat less and build muscle.
The 2 people who didn’t set New Year’s resolutions stated that the reason they didn’t set them was because they didn’t feel like they were able to accomplish the goals that they wanted to set. Another reason is that they didn’t complete the goals they set in past years. They felt as if they wouldn’t feel good about themselves if they set a goal and didn’t complete it. Others said they didn’t wanna take the time to set a goal because it was too much work.
New year’s resolutions are very much optional, it’s not required to do but we feel like it helps you get a start to the new year.
