Our Southeast Of Saline FFA chapter (Future Farmers Of America) attended the FFA National Convention. This is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is the most significant event for FFA, for there are over 70,000 members that attended. There are so many opportunities and fun things to do at this event. Here is what our chapter’s agenda looked like that week:
November 1st-4th
Wednesday, November 1st
- Shopping @Indanapolis Convention Center
- Opening Session @Lucus Oil stadium (over 70,000 members were present)
- Lainey Wilson Concert
Thursday, November 2nd
- Expo ( many colleges and workforces were there spreading their knowledge in agriculture)
- Traveled to Louisville, Kentucky, to church hills downs(Kentucky Derby) and the original Louisville slugger bat factory.
Friday, November 3rd
- Career success tour @labcorp
- Rodeo Finals @Indianapolis Fairgrounds
Overall, our FFA Chapter had a great time. We were learning new skills and improving on leadership qualities.
