Students honored with trojan choice awards

Drew Hanson, Co-editor

The trojan choice award is a longstanding tradition at SES, in which each teacher selects a student recipient. The purpose of the award is “to promote good citizenship and qualities of character which are known to foster success in adult lives.”

Characteristics of the award are displaying a good work ethic, displaying a cooperative personality with adults and peers, and teamwork.

Usually, a banquet is held to honor the recipients, however with the spread of Covid-19, this could not be possible. Instead, Mr. Kinsy Mccvay put together a google site to honor them. Each teacher created a personalized video about why they chose to select their student. This year, twenty-three students received an award.
