Annabelle Soell is the March Athlete of the Month. Annabelle describes herself as a perfectionist, independent, and hardworking person. Annabelle has amazing characteristics and shows these towards everyone at SES through the sports and activities she does here at school. A fun fact about Annabelle is that she has two dogs and three cats. Annabelle is a Junior here at SES, and she came to SES in her 7th grade year. Annabelle is involved in many different school activities. The sports and clubs that she is involved in are SAFE, NHS, Science Club, Volleyball, Softball, and Wrestling. Outside of her school activities, Annabelle enjoys going to the gym, wrestling, and reading. Annabelle’s family is her mom Janie, her dad Tilden, her younger brother Tripp, and her younger sister Mackenzie. Mackenzie Soell is a sophomore who goes to school here at SES as well. Annabelle’s favorite thing to do with her family is to just be around them by hanging out at the house and cooking together. After highschool Anabelle plans to become a Radiologist and plans to wrestle somewhere in college. Hayden Hammel is the March Student of the Month. Hayden describes himself as a kind, helpful, and hard-working person. Hayden shows all of these characteristics in everything and towards everyone here at SES. Something that Hayden is looking forward to is Trap shooting. Hayden says, “ I am hoping to have a good season and shoot well at state.” Hayden is a Junior here at SES and has been here at SES since kindergarten. At SES, Hayden is involved in the golf and trap shooting teams. His favorite out-of-school activities are golfing with my dad or friends, playing a game called Car Mechanics Simulator 2021, and playing guitar. Hayden’s mom is Sara. His favorite thing to do with his mom is spend days in Wichita, Kansas, after their doctor’s appointments. In Wichita, they spend time walking around the mall, going to sports stores, and movie stores. His dad is Jason, and his favorite thing to do with his dad is going golfing a few times a month, and hunting deer, pheasants, quail, and doves during hunting season. His oldest sister is Jailynn. When she visits, they like to go out and eat together, and go to the mall and catch up. His other sister is Taylie. His favorite thing to do with her is shopping and going to Jalisco’s Mexican Grill in town. After high school, Hayden says that he wants to go to Salina Area Tech to take a 2-year program in Auto Collision. After college, he plans to go into Auto Restoration and start his own business.
