Every two years, the town of Lindsborg comes alive with the celebration of Hyllingsfest. Known as a festival that honors the town’s Swedish roots, Hyllingsfest fills the streets with music, dancing, and laughter. People from all over gather to enjoy the festivities, making it one of the most exciting events in Lindsborg.  

          One of the most exciting parts of Hyllingsfest is the music and dancing. Students from Smoky Valley High School perform traditional Swedish dances with live music. The festival is not just about entertainment, but it is a way for the community to honor its heritage, connect with friends and family, and enjoy socializing while eating tasty foods.
